	BRIEF – To replace the existing Horsa Hut canteen to provide a new dining hall and kitchen facility with ICT suite and 1st floor staff workroom, all linked to the main school
	DATE COMPLETED – December 2005
	GROSS FLOOR AREA – 250 m²
	BUILD COST - £440,000
	DETAILS – The existing dining hall and kitchen were housed in a separate Horsa building in very poor condition necessitating external access. The areas conservation status required close liaison with the Planning Department and the building proximity to the adjacent church required windows to be fire resisting which was achieved via fire rated glass block panels.
