FIRE DAMAGE REINSTATEMENT WORKS.

	BRIEF – Fire damage reinstatement works to the Ice Rink
	GROSS FLOOR AREA - 1460 m2
	COST OF WORKS - £312,000
	DETAILS –The premises was subject to extensive fire & smoke damage in March 2004. Reinstatement works were instigated which initially involved the use of specialist soot cleaning equipment. This was followed by the complete replacement of all floor, wall & ceiling finishes. Bespoke furniture to the entrance kiosk, shop and duty manager’s office was designed, along with a major overhaul to the public address, intruder and fire detection systems. To minimise down-time, a phased re-opening programme was initiated which saw 90% of the premises ready for public enjoyment in two months.
