High needs - amended benchmarking tool
DfE has published an amended high needs benchmarking tool. This tool is intended to help local authorities to assess their own level of need, spend and pattern of provision against those of neighbouring local authorities (both geographically and statistically) and national trends. It may also be a useful tool for schools and trusts to support discussions with local authorities about their patterns of expenditure and future plans.
