In response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak we want to keep you informed on the steps we are taking at Barker to minimise disruption to operations and maintain the wellbeing of our staff and clients.
We are continuing to operate a full service remotely in line with our business continuity plan.
All our staff have the ability to work remotely from home as necessary and have full access to our networks and document management systems.
In response to current guidance we are minimising face-to-face meetings to those essential for operational continuity. All training, networking and other non-essential gatherings have been postponed or moved to tele/video conferencing.
We would request that anyone identified in the higher-risk groups, who has travelled to any areas with high levels of coronavirus outbreaks or has any associated symptoms should not attend meetings. If you are unsure, please call us to discuss possible alternative arrangements.
We are assessing every live project/contract and will take steps to minimise risks whilst taking reasonable steps to maintain progress.
Where sites remain operational, and provided it is safe and reasonable to do so, we will continue to visit and monitor progress, manage issues and maintain the flow of information and finances in line with contractual provisions.
