This project, situated on a prominent corner position close to the station in Harold Wood, will replace two aging and decaying shop units with a new mixed-use three-storey development comprising of three retail units at ground level and six two-bedroom apartments on the first and second floors.
The design sets out to reflect a contemporary vernacular architecture which will blend sympathetically with the established character of Station Road.
Its form and massing creates a homogenous entity which responds to the pivotal nature of the site incorporating the new accommodation in a simple curved dual pitch roof which wraps around the site frontage, articulated by balconies, dormer windows and a stair tower.
