Dan is an Engineer and Construction Manager in our Birmingham Office. He spent the eight years prior to joining Barker managing the Building Schools for the Future (BSF), Additional Pupil Places (APP) and Special School Additional Places (SSAP) capital delivery programmes for Birmingham City Council and has and in-depth knowledge of estate planning in the education sector. He is knowledgeable on funding streams and bid management and has built and managed multi-disciplinary consultancy teams for large scale programmes. An accomplished project and programme manager, he has overseen complex construction projects across multiple sectors on both client and contractor sides.

Simon joined Barker in 2021. He is a Chartered Architect with 20 years of specialist experience in the education sector working at all project work stages from feasibility and inception to completion. He has a proven track record of successfully delivering projects ranging from £100k to £36m working with schools, academies, local authorities and private clients.
