At Barker, our team combines a modern, dynamic approach to effective cost management with a drive to achieve the best value for money.
Fully integrated with the design process, our cost consultancy service provides clear financial control from project inception to completion.
Working collaboratively with clients and project teams, we manage construction costs, identify opportunities for savings, and mitigate financial risk to ensure projects are delivered sustainably with the strongest possible return on investment.
Feasibility studies provide the foundation for successful project delivery. By assessing a site’s ability to accommodate our client’s requirements, we establish clear project parameters, test viability, and identify opportunities and constraints at an early stage.
Through a rigorous evaluation of all available options, we provide informed recommendations that enable confident decision-making and ensure projects progress in the most effective and commercially viable way.
Our Contract Administrators and Employer’s Agents lead throughout the construction phase, safeguarding compliance with contractual obligations while meeting programme requirements and client expectations.
Working as a trusted link between employer and contractor, we oversee change control, payments, reporting, and project governance while maintaining clear communication across the wider team. This collaborative approach minimises risk, supports informed decision-making, and keeps projects progressing smoothly from start to finish.
We provide bank and fund monitoring services across a wide range of sectors, giving lenders and investors the confidence that projects are progressing as planned.
Our experienced cost consultants deliver accurate and timely reporting to support construction phase funding decisions while identifying potential risks before they affect project performance.
We also undertake early-stage due diligence and risk assessments, providing independent insight to inform investment decisions and protect project outcomes.
