We are excited to attend this year’s CST Annual Conference at the ICC Birmingham. Our team will be available on Stand H7 to discuss how the DfE’s new Education Estates Strategy is set to shape how trusts approach the management and optimisation of their school estate in the next 10 years.
Barker Partner Robert Gould will be taking part in a strategic panel discussion during the breakout session: Inclusive by design: Creating environments where all learners thrive. This will explore how trusts and partners are designing inclusive learning environments that support a wider range of learner needs across mainstream and specialist provision.
The theme of the CST Annual Conference 2026 is Connecting. The conference will explore how sector and civic leaders can respond to the ambitions of the White Paper and SEND reforms, recognising that relationships – from classrooms to systems – are a vital and often underestimated driver of change. At the beginning of a decade-long reform journey, the conference will showcase excellent practice and leading evidence on inclusion, engagement, and improving outcomes for children. Expect keynotes and discussions that will highlight how a connectivity mindset strengthens leadership, resilience, and shared capacity.
