The Department for Education (DfE) has announced its allocation of Condition Improvement Fund 2024/25 round. Total funding of just under £450m for various school condition projects has been confirmed.
It is yet another successful year of CIF bids for Barker. Successful projects range from £50,000 safeguarding projects to £1.6M heating programmes.
The DfE received requests for funding for over 3,034 projects to this year’s round. A total of £450 million for 866 projects across 733 academies and sixth-form colleges has been allocated.
Robert Gould, Partner and Head of Funding Bids said, “This is a fantastic result and a testament to the power of partnerships between Barker and our clients. Our team continues to deliver high-quality bids through hard work, flexibility, and professionalism all round. We are absolutely delighted with the outcomes for our clients, and we look forward to delivering these projects.”
The limited funding available and the large number of applications received means that not all projects were successful. Academies will be able to Appeal the CIF 24/25 outcome via the CIF portal. The deadline for Appeals is Tuesday 7 May 2024, 12pm.
Our CIF consultants at Barker will be able to support those Academies looking to Appeal their CIF bids. For more information email or call us on 1279 647111.
