This successful technology company needed a new vehicle exhibition space, meeting facilities and a flexible working area delivered in a short timescale to minimise its loss of product testing time.
The Barker team worked with client side designers, a nominated acoustic sub-consultant and a main contractor from the project outset to fast track the design process. The budget was managed carefully through this process by Barker’s cost managers to maintain control and minimise risk.
Barker advised the client on contract and procurement mechanisms to meet their delivery timescales whilst achieving value for money.
The project team worked collaboratively to balance functional and aesthetic requirements against their budget and delivery restrictions.
Barker successfully delivered the programme whilst limiting operational down-time – a critical factor for the client. We also ensured the long term functional requirements were met. The project was delivered within a restricted, high security environment.
