Barker has been shortlisted for the MAT Excellence Awards in the Trust Collaboration Award category. We are proud to present and be acknowledged for our achievements in partnership with E-ACT. The MAT Excellence Awards are all about celebrating excellence and impact in school trusts.
Barker’s collaboration with E-ACT has been guided by a clear set of aims and objectives aligned with concordant business drivers, creating a foundation for our successful partnership. The success of our network collaboration, spread across 28 schools nationwide, is a testament to our ability to administer programs centrally while maintaining critical local engagement. With E-ACT, our strategic partnership evolved from Energy Dashboards to multimillion-pound energy efficiency schemes, accelerating E-ACT’s decarbonisation journey. Our collaboration reflects mutual dedication to positive change and innovation in education.
A highlight of this partnership is the fact that building surveyors, engineers, designers and programme co-ordinators from all four Barker offices in London, Braintree, Cambridge and Birmingham were involved on E-ACT projects. A collaborative effort built on trust between Barker and E-ACT resulted in the team being well equipped to adapt to change and take swift decisions. This enabled projects to maintain momentum and be delivered on time and on budget.
