Dan is an engineer and construction manager and heads up our Birmingham Office. He spent the eight years prior to joining Barker Associates managing the Building Schools for the Future (BSF), Additional Pupil Places (APP) and Special School Additional Places (SSAP) capital delivery programmes for Birmingham City Council and has and in-depth knowledge of estate planning in the education sector. He is knowledgeable on funding streams and bid management and has built and managed multi-disciplinary consultancy teams for large scale programmes. An accomplished project and programme manager, he has overseen complex construction projects across multiple sectors on both client and contractor sides.
David joined Barker Associates in 2017 and is a chartered surveyor in the projects team. David specialises in project management and contract administration of refurbishment and new builds to clients in education, commercial sectors and private clients.
