This private client required a high-spec new-build residential property in Stansted, Essex.
The Challenges
Sloping site topography and the impact of the Covid pandemic meant the team needed to explore innovative specification options and employ extremely careful contract management to protect all parties.
The Outcome
Our team utilised a SIPs timber frame to overcome many of the site access and supply chain issues. Working closely with the client and project team, Barker’s quantity surveying team provided detailed project and cost management services, monitoring the entire project from the start to ensure both budget control and quality were maintained.
The completed property is a smart, contemporary and spacious house ready to be enjoyed by the new owners.
